Charles A. Eldering

Dr. Charles A. Eldering is an engineer, inventor, and intellectual property strategist with over 30 years of experience in patent portfolio mining, claims-based analysis, and technology-driven monetization. He is the founder of CAsE Analysis, where he combines deep subject-matter expertise with rigorous technical analysis and AI-enabled workflows to identify high-value patent assets, document real-world use, and support licensing, enforcement, and investment strategies.

Dr. Eldering has founded and led multiple intellectual property and technology ventures, including Technology, Patents & Licensing and Expanse Networks, gaining firsthand experience in building, prosecuting, valuing, and monetizing patent portfolios across a wide range of industries. His work spans telecommunications, microelectronics, consumer electronics, data analytics, targeted advertising, and bioinformatics.

He has supported dozens of patent litigation and PTAB proceedings, including jury trials, bench trials, and ITC investigations, providing infringement analysis, claim construction support, damages modeling, and strategic CAsE development.
